"Good Characters" sells the famous brand "Lam Sam Yick ( 林三益 )" made in Taiwan. I do not own any brushes made by Lam Sam Yick, so please try the suppliers listed here on your own because choosing a brush is a very technical issue. The brushes I sell to my students are usually a little bit above average quality, or average quality. A fine brush is not easy to get, however, it plays a vital role in making fine strokes. It's recommended a beginner start by using a brush that is a little bit above average quality, not an excellent brush - otherwise, one will not feel the differences of making progress and different levels of quality. |
